Georgia Aquarium

Today we went to the same park as yesterday morning while we waited for the aquarium to open.  The Georgia aquarium is pretty similar to the Toronto aquarium, but a little bit bigger and better in every way, plus there's a dolphin jumping show.

Posing for their debut hip hop album cover (note Ellis' b-boy stance) Jasper looking hard AF

Giant wall of jellies

Giant wall of coral reef

The awe and wonder of a child

Conveyor belt under the sea, just like Toronto...

...except for the massive whale shark!!!!!

Another shot of the whale shark, easily the largest animal I have seen in a tank

Peanut butter and jelly pouches at the cafeteria

There were multiple caves and underwater tubes to crawl through, very fun.

Beluga whales!
Our night was interrupted by a surprisingly quiet fire alarm around 10 pm.  The kids were fast asleep so we just carried them down the stairs of our apartment and chilled outside until the fire fighters confirmed that it was a false alarm. Jasper woke up eventually and I told him to go back to sleep, that he was just having a dream about fire trucks, just like every other night.
