Day 53: Foggy Hike

The weather was a little dicey today so we decided on an easy hike in a part of the island that looked like it would have relatively decent weather.  There was pretty thick fog, and a little bit of a drizzle, but we made it through.

We packed some snacks and the kids ate while we walked.  Jasper insists on feeding Ellis from his share.

After the hike the rain started to come down pretty good so we headed for a museum in a nearby town.  They wouldn't let us eat our picnic lunch in the museum so we had to find a bench and eat on the street like common hobos.  Ellis tried to eat an entire apple while in the carrier, which hardly made any mess at all.

The museum was alright, but the kids needed naps and wouldn't go down so half the family went home early to get them some sleep (with little success).  We ate chili for supper, followed by a sherry tasting in our dining room.  Tomorrow is Sunday, so all we know for sure is that we will eat at 100 Montaditos at least once, and we will build the rest of our day around that.
