Day 10: Porto Moniz

We packed up in the morning and headed straight to the natural pools at Porto Moniz. We'd seen that Brittney had gone there a few weeks ago and everyone was excited for a swim.
The waves were quite strong and were splashing up over the rocks and right into the pools.
It was cloudy and a bit chilly when we first arrived, so the kids played in the park for a while before swimming.
The sun came out and it felt warm enough to go for a dip.
Ellis was loving the shallow area where she could crawl around (mostly) without getting her face wet.
Even Grannie and Great Gran went for a swim. Grandad and Great Grandpa sat this one out.
Jasper took some coaxing to get his swim suit on, but he enjoyed the pools once he got in. He'd never swam in a pool with fish and crabs in it before.
Our next "new house" is up on a hill looking out over the town of Sao Vincente. We had a rough afternoon with the kids, but at least the views are great!
