Day 23: Long live the siesta

Today we got into a better routine by bringing the kids home right after my class to have lunch and then a nap at home. It was much easier than walking them around for hours while they slept. I even got a nap too!
In the late afternoon we walked over to to the Castillo de San Sebastian, which is way out on a peninsula. On the way we discovered a huge playground and had to stop.
The equipment was meant for older kids, but Jasper did pretty well with a bit of help.
When we finally made it to the castle it was nearly sunset.
Jasper enjoyed running along the walk way out to the castle.
It was also low tide and there were some kids exploring the tidal pools. We'll have to come back another day with our water shoes.
The castle was closed for renovations, but it was a good view of the city from out there.
Jasper was really excited about the sun set on the way back, and wanted lots of pictures.
We walked by a colony of stray cats that live on the sea wall. They are well cared for, people bring food and have built little houses
