This morning after class, I took the kids for a walk around the city, past the port, along the north coast and up to park Genoves.
This evening we went for a tour of the city with one of the teachers from school. He did the tour in Spanish, and I'm guessing I could understand between 40-60% of what he said, depending on whether I'd already read about the historical events he was referring to. Historical dates are especially tough- by the time I've processed the year 1790, I've already missed the next 4 sentences.
Pat is out with some friends from school tonight for a 40th birthday and some flamenco.
