Day 36: Wednesday at the Beach

Today was another typical week day for us in Cadiz.  Patrick was a little worn out from staying out past his bed time after the flamenco show last night, and he dozed off while "looking after the kids" this morning.

The warm weather is back so we enjoyed some time outside today.  One of the new students in class likes to exercise, so she and Kristin went for a distance swim in the ocean this afternoon.  Pat brought the kids along to play at the beach.  There were some nice shallow tidal pools for Ellis to wade around in, and she drew quite the crowd of Spanish teenagers when she stood up and acted like she was going to walk.

After the beach we went to a park near by and Jasper took up his usual spot at "the grocery store" under the firemans pole.  He charged my 9 dollars for a bowl of cereal.  Ellis approached the counter and asked if she could pay for her cereal with hugs.

Wednesday is "Euromania" at our favourite sandwich restaurant, so we went there for supper on the way home with Kristin's German swimming partners.  The man at the counter remembered Pat's name...I would say that means that we are going there too often, but it so good and so cheap that we are 100% going back on Sunday when everything is half price again.
