Day 24: The rain in Spain..

Today it rained for the first time since we arrived in Spain. We managed to get the kids to school and back without getting wet, but Pat got soaked on his walk home. It was quite the storm, with the thunder shaking the old windows and the ancient sewers not quite able to handle the extra water.
Why are you taking my picture? I'm still in my PJs.
The kids are getting into a more Spanish schedule- they both slept past 7 am this morning! Today was a pretty routine day, school, groceries, playing at the house and going to the park (when it wasn't raining). I think getting back into a bit of a routine is good for the kids.
Trying to cheer him up by "walking on the ceiling", which is hard when they are 12' high!
I tried to make a Spanish dish for dinner tonight, Espinacas con Garbanzos but half way through the recipe I realized I needed a food processor (which we do not have). I improvised, and it turned out OK.
Watching her brother.
Tomorrow we're either going to try to catch a train to Jerez de la Fronterra or take a ferry to El Puerto de Santa Maria, weather dependent.
