Day 12-Minneapolis

Route: Excelsior- Minneapolis- Excelsior
Distance driven: 68 km

Today was a short driving day, we just went into the city of Minneapolis, from Ann's place in the outskirts.  Our first stop was the Mall of America, a mall bigger than West Edmonton, with a big amusement park in the middle.  We were looking for a teething ring for Jasper, and we successfully navigated the mall to find one.

We parked near the mall and hopped on the LRT to downtown Minneapolis. We walked around the waterfront and checked out the old mill ruins.  Jasper fell asleep in the front carrier with his chin sticking straight forwards and his hat covering his face.

After some Mexican food for dinner, we went to the Minnesota Twins game just down the road at Target field. The usher brought Jasper a certificate for it being his first Twins game.  They ended up winning with a walk off double in the bottom of the 9th.  Thank goodness there were no extra innings, were all getting tired!

After a crowded trip back to our car on the LRT, we made it back to Ann's around midnight. Tomorrow, onward to North Dakota!
