Day 23- Malaspina Galleries

Route: Gabriola
Distance driven: < 10 km
Tie dye at the market.
After a yummy pancake breakfast, we all piled into our car to head to the Gabriola farmer's market. The market was packed with vendors and visitors and there were lots of interesting crafts and foods to check out.  Alex picked up all the ingredients we needed, and the rest of us browsed around and people watched.

After the market, we drove over to Malaspina Galleries, a cool sandstone rock formation that is also a cliff jumping spot. Patrick and I both jumped off the top of the cliff, and we walked under the overhang.  The view from the jumping spot was great, and we could see the ferries go by.
Under the overhang.
In the afternoon, we had some down time to relax, which was nice after so many days of busy traveling. The Pats (Patrick and Patricia) gave Jasper a cooler bath, so he is nice and clean again.
Relaxing in the afternoon.
After dinner, we went for a blackberry picking walk, but it got dark too soon to find many berries.  We will try again tomorrow, maybe we will collect enough to make a pie.
