Route: Whitehorse
Distance driven: < 80 km
Today, Katie and Jason took us around Whitehorse for a hike at fish lake and to the Takhini hot springs. The hike was a steady uphill climb to a ridge with great views of mountains and Fish Lake. We had a picnic lunch at the top, and Pat built Jasper his first tiny snowman.

Jasper was still feeling pretty sick, so he slept the whole way out and back in the front carrier. He was nice and cozy in his blue teddy bear suit.

After the hike, we drove to Takhini hot springs for a dip. At that point, Jasper was really sleepy and was more interested in napping than swimming. Warren had a great time jumping off the sides and between his mom and dad.

Back at the house, we had a Mexican casserole for dinner. Pat and Jason decided that it was a great time to try out the "Death Sauce" that Katie brought back from New Orleans. Both Pat and Jason sweated their way through dinner and had to lie down to rest after finishing eating. Katie and I had an enjoyable meal.
We played another couple rounds of Catan to wrap up the night. Jasper is still a bit grouchy because of his cold, but he seems to be starting to get better. Tomorrow our hosts have to go to work, so we get to look after both boys for the day.
