Today was our longest day of driving yet at nearly 1000 km. We made it to our hotel in Chicago at about 10 pm. Tomorrow will be a day off from driving, since we covered so much ground today.

We had lots of pit stops along the way, whenever Jasper would get fussy. There is somewhere to stop at every exit on the interstate, much different than driving in the north. Dinner was a bit of a dud when we stopped at Taco John's. I thought it might be like Taco de Mar, but it was more like Taco Bell. We'll make up for it with some good vegetarian eats at the Chicago Diner tomorrow.
